THE AREA AROUND AKSOS SUITES
Aksos suites is located near Agia lake, 20 minutes (8km) from the city of Chania, 100 meters high on a hill, in an environmentally protected olive grove area. Our visitors admire the magical location and the beautiful landscape, whilst enjoying the melodies of the bird song and the serenity of nature providing of rich aromas, colours and a variety of fruit trees.
Agia lake is an important wetland, to Crete and the rest of Greece, hosting more than 200 species of birds and the largest variety of aquatic plants in Crete.The climate is excellent, hot and dry in the summer (22-34 C) and cool in the winter (10-18 C) and, due to the altitude, humidity is low.
Guests can enjoy a walk around the lake and enjoy and drink or food at the local cafe.
